Turning Pain into Passion and Building a Creative Future
Not too long ago, my art was just an outlet, a way to release the anger and sadness that weighed me down. I was struggling mentally, feeling lost in my failures and frustrations. Art became my escape, a space where I could let out everything I couldn’t put into words. But instead of letting my emotions control me, I turned them into fuel. Every stroke, every design, and every idea became a way to push forward, to prove to myself that I wasn’t going to stay stuck forever.

Fast forward to today, and I’m proud to say my journey has led me somewhere incredible. I’m now part of Create Texas, an art studio in downtown Arlington, where I get to grow alongside other talented creatives. Being surrounded by passionate artists has motivated me to push my boundaries and take my work to the next level. What once felt like a personal form of expression has now become something that connects with people, and that realization has changed everything for me.

But I’m not stopping there. With a growing follower base, I’ve decided to expand my business. I’m now selling shirts, stickers, pins, and postcards, bringing my art into the hands of those who support my work. This isn’t just a side hustle—it’s the start of something bigger. I want my art to be more than just something people see; I want it to be something they experience, something they carry with them. The fact that people want to wear and display my designs is both humbling and exciting.

Of course, balancing it all isn’t easy. Between my studies and working at Starbucks, there are days when exhaustion hits hard. But every time I feel overwhelmed, I remind myself why I started to make something meaningful, not just for myself, but for those who believe in me. I want to prove to myself, and to my parents, that I can turn this passion into something real.
This is just the beginning, and I can’t wait to see where it takes me next. There are still so many ideas I haven’t explored, so many designs waiting to come to life. I know the road ahead won’t always be easy, but that’s part of the journey. I’m ready to take on every challenge, keep growing, and turn this dream into something even bigger. The best part? I get to create, share, and inspire one piece of art at a time.
