CREATE TEXAS
From Marketing Intern to Studio Member
"Where creativity, collaboration, and community shaped my growth as both an artist and advertising professional."
My Journey
During my senior year at the University of Texas at Arlington, I joined Create Texas as a Marketing & Design Intern. Working in a collaborative creative environment allowed me to apply what I was learning in advertising to real projects while working alongside local artists, entrepreneurs, and community leaders.
After graduating with my Bachelor's degree in Advertising, I was honored to continue my journey as a Studio Member. Today, I continue creating original artwork, participating in exhibitions, contributing to community events, and exploring new ways to connect creativity with marketing and visual storytelling.
Create Texas became more than a creative workspace. It gave me the opportunity to apply my education in advertising within a collaborative artistic environment, helping me grow as both a visual storyteller and creative professional. The experience strengthened my appreciation for community-driven art and continues to influence the way I approach design, marketing, and creative problem-solving.
Original concept development
-
As a Studio Artist at Create Texas, I create original illustrations and mixed-media artwork while continuously exploring new creative concepts, developing my artistic style, and contributing pieces for gallery exhibitions and community showcases.

Community Engagement
-
My marketing and design work focused on creating promotional materials, supporting branding initiatives, developing social media content, and using visual storytelling to communicate ideas that strengthened community engagement and creative outreach.

Community Engagement
-
Working alongside local artists and entrepreneurs gave me the opportunity to participate in community events, gallery exhibitions, and collaborative creative projects while building meaningful relationships through art and public engagement.

Creative Product Design
-
I contributed to the development of creative merchandise by designing products, preparing artwork for prints and apparel, and exploring ways to transform original artwork into pieces that could connect with the community beyond the gallery.
